About Paraffin Emulsions
Paraffin emulsions are mixtures obtained by blending paraffin wax with specialized emulsifiers and sector-specific additives, followed by homogeneous dispersion with water. Emulsions can be formulated with anionic, non-ionic, and cationic characteristics.
Fields of Application and Advantages
Due to their ease of handling, liquid state at room temperature, lubricating properties, and inherent water-repellent performance derived from paraffin, paraffin emulsions are actively utilized primarily in the timber and wood-based panel industry, as well as in concrete, gypsum/plaster, glass wool/stone wool, and paper sectors.
