Tolga DURAN
Assistant Director General
He was born in İzmir in March 1985. Following his education at Söke Anatolian High School, he graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry in 2007. He completed his Master's degree with thesis at the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences of the same university in 2009. Continuing his academic advancement, Duran commenced his Ph.D. studies at Pamukkale University in 2012 and completed the Micro-MBA program at Istanbul Technical University in 2018.
He embarked on his professional career in 2007 at Gitaş A.Ş. as Production and Quality Control Manager.
Joining the Mercan Kimya family in 2010, Tolga Duran has demonstrated a consistent track record of success within the enterprise. He served respectively as Production Engineer between 2010 and 2012, Production Manager between 2012 and 2014, and Plant Manager between 2014 and 2016.
Since 2016, he has been continuing his role as Deputy General Manager at Mercan Kimya.
Proficient in English, Tolga Duran is married and the father of one child.
